YORK, Pa.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Lincoln Charter School invites the community to attend its National
School Choice Week 2017 festivities and join in the celebration of
The event begins at 9:30 a.m. on Tuesday, January 24 at the school,
located at 559 West King Street in York. The agenda for the celebration
include a special address for students from TV host Sharee McFadden and
personal finance coach Danny Velez. Other school leadership including
Principal Leonard Hart will address students, parents and teachers.
Lincoln Charter students will also perform a high-energy choreographed
dance to Justin Timberlake’s “Can’t Stop the Feeling.”
Lincoln Charter School is a tuition-free public school, serving 700
students in grades K-5.
The goal of the event is to celebrate great education choices in
Pennsylvania and raise awareness among parents about school choice. The
celebration is timed to coincide with National School Choice Week
(January 22-28, 2017), which will feature more than 21,000 events across
