NEWARK, N.J.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Senator Anthony Bucco, Sr., and Assemblyman Anthony Bucco, Jr., a
father-and-son duo, will be presented the Heroic Legislators award on
Sunday, January 24.
The Alliance for Free Choice in Education is organizing the event as a
kickoff to School Choice Week in New Jersey. The event will be held
Sunday, January 24, from 3 to 6 p.m. at the Best Western Robert Treat
Hotel and Conference Center in Newark.
In addition to the award ceremony, there will be a panel of legislators,
education reformers, and school choice advocates to discuss the impact
school choice could have on the children of New Jersey.
Israel Teitelbaum, executive director for the Alliance for Free Choice,
said, “The Buccos empower all New Jersey parents to send their children
to the quality school of their choice. We are proud to honor them today
for their courageous efforts in the New Jersey Legislature.”
