OMAHA, Neb.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--School choice supporters in North Omaha will talk to friends and
neighbors about educational options during National School Choice Week.
Community leaders have been knocking on doors in their neighborhoods to
encourage families to come out for a breakfast rally at the Bryan
Center, 2417 Grant Street, on Thursday, January 26, at 8:30 a.m. The
Bryan Center kickoff will feature community leaders as well as parents,
students, and teachers, hundreds of whom will then get on buses and head
to the School Choice Week rally in Lincoln later that morning.
The goal of the event is to raise awareness among the community about
the power of educational opportunity. The celebration is timed to
coincide with National School Choice Week (January 22-28, 2017), which
will feature more than 21,000 events across the country.
