“It is an honor for the Soldotna Chamber of Commerce to give back to our
community through our youth development programs. Each month, the
Soldotna Chamber recognizes five local students, from both the private
and public sectors, for excellence in the classroom and in their
community,” said Sara Hondel, tourism and education coordinator for the
Soldotna Chamber. “Soldotna’s educational opportunities are very
diverse: we have one homeschool program, one Montessori school, one
performance based school, 3 public elementary schools, one middle
school, one prep school, one high school, and three private schools. We
are excited to highlight them all to commemorate School Choice Week!”
